“While driving on a sunny day I kept being blinded by chrome / mirror finish elements surrounding the steering wheel. It wasn't happening only for a moment, my eyes hurt after driving home from work. That is very distracting and affects driver's vision! To hide my eyes from the blinding light, I had to move the steering wheel to very uncomfortable position (what still didn't solve the problem) or pretty much cover flashing spots with my hands. That creates a hazardous conditions everytime when the sun is out. I am attaching a picture, but it doesn't show how harsh are these lights on human eye. …”

This is a design flaw, the mounting location causes excess vibration in the hose leading to the crimping failure. There are countless forum posts and other complaints filed by owners of the same vehicle for the exact same A/C hose. This should be a recall from Volvo. It is a major safety issue for customers like me who live in a humid environment, without A/C the windshield can fog over and hinder visibility. …”
