NHTSA complaint #11610199, filed 2024-08“This incident only occurs when placing the vehicle into drive after first having reversed. It happens intermittently. After reversing, the vehicle is stopped, place into B, which is drive with extra regenerative braking, and then the accelerator is press. The vehicle does not move. As the accelerator is pressed further, the transmission slams into gear and the vehicle launches with all the vigor of a vehicle that has the accelerator pressed to the floor. The vehicle was delivered to the dealer for diagnostics. …”
