“I experienced a terrifying event of sudden acceleration. I was pulling into a church parking lot yesterday morning and had almost come to a full stop when suddenly the engine revved and the car took off (a witness said the horn beeped as it happened; I don't remember, I was so busy trying to control the car and the engine was loud, like a teen-ager in a drag race). I kept braking and turned the wheel sharply to avoid hitting the fence in front of me but couldn't get it to stop. It was like it was demon-possessed. I hit a glancing blow to a transformer and a tree and hit two backyard fences. …”

I reversed my car lo leave, and the car went out of control and was not until it crashed on two other parked cars that came to a stop. Then, After reversing my car, when trying to put it into drive, it would not move. When I tried to turn it off, the engine (re) started again and it worked so I could clear the path for other cars and wait until the police came. I had major maintenance at Acura Hopkins 2 and 3 years ago, I had a new steering pump and hoses changed 5 months ago and new front and rear brakes 3 months ago. …”
