“The vehicle suddenly accelerates itself. This is especially true in low speeds. There have been numerous times that I am driving slowly in a parking ramp and the vehicle will just shoot forward as though I am pressing the gas pedal, when I am not! I am grateful that no one was injured due to this - but this is dangerous and honda needs to listen and do something.”

NHTSA complaint #11278187, filed 2019-11, 10,000 miles

“The vehicle is equipped with safety features which are designed to alert you if braking is required and to brake to avoid a collision the vehicle also has active cruise control which is designed to slow your vehicle when a vehicle enters your lane with in a pre set distance. Cruise control: while driving on the freeway using active cruise control my vehicle slowed down from 70 to 45 no vehicles entered my lane I was passed on my left by a vehicle doing 80 plus. This happened twice with in twenty minutes. …”

NHTSA complaint #11318129, filed 2020-03, 6,000 miles

“I was yielding to make a left hand turn , in the middle of the intersection, and my car turned off and wouldn’t turn back on. In addition the car occasionally jerks as I’m driving almost like if it changes gear. Sometimes I can’t get the car in park position I have to press the button multiple times. The recall going on right now can cause a fire crash or injury and they cannot replace the parts until April 2024 and I don’t feel safe driving my car.”

NHTSA complaint #11563960, filed 2024-01

“My car was purchased with 12,000 miles and supposedly worn tires. Because of that, I went to the dealership to get new tires and an alignment since the car was always pulling to the right. My car has been at the dealership four times for the same problem, and they still haven't fixed it. My car continues to constantly pull to the right, and when I use the cruise control, it stays above the other cars to the right, causing it to suddenly pull to the left, deactivating the speed control and losing control. The dealership's recommendation is to stop using the speed control.”

NHTSA complaint #11521295, filed 2023-05

“I was getting ready to pass a semi and when I went to accelerate I had no power. I pushed the pedal several times with no power. Then it finally kicked in and the car accelerated. I was almost rear ended due to me losing power. This has happened multiple times. No lights ever come on. I am also experiencing the car completely shutting off while stopped. When it does this, a message pops up that I need to shift to park. It takes a few tries and then I can restart the car. I have taken it to the dealership and they can’t replicate either issue. They told me there are no TSB’s on these issues. …”
