“The contact owns a 2015 Acura MDX. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds with the air conditioner activated, there was an abnormal noise coming from the air conditioner. The vehicle was taken to a dealer multiple times who diagnosed that the clutch compressor bolt needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired on numerous occasions. However, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 10,000.”

The contact stated that the vehicle was equipped with a lane assist camera, a feature that alerted the driver with lane departure and lane assist keeping warnings whenever the driver veered from the lane. The contact stated that the feature failed while driving 60 MPH, with the air conditioning set at 69 degrees. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated that there was no remedy for the failure. The manufacturer was notified. The contact was advised to turn the air conditioner on while driving. …”
