“It is 11-06-2016 and there is no attempt to fix my car. This recall has been issued for months and Audi has not provided any solution other than no one can ride in the front passenger seat. This is unacceptable. This is my son's car and we are in one of the more dangerous zones according to the data for these air bags to fail. I would like something done asap.”

NHTSA complaint #10924551, filed 2016-11, 48,000 miles

“Takata recall I called to schedule a recall repair at my local Audi dealership(fresno, ca Audi/porsche) and they told me that they didn't have the part and that thy were not sure when a new one would arrive. So it's been about 4 weeks now since I talked to the Audi dealership and I'm driving around with a faulty airbag in my car, this is a little scary. Knowing that if I got in a crash my passenger could be seriously injured or even die. …”

NHTSA complaint #11071659, filed 2018-02, 77,000 miles

“Takata recall, our passenger airbag recall was documented may 27,2016. We have been calling our local Audi dealer, Audi of raleigh for updates every few months and they have been unable to provide us with any information about the recall. We are going on 14 months unable to use the front passenger seat of our car and most dealers are no unwilling to take the vehicle in trade because they can not sell it. We currently have a car that is difficult to use and can not be sold.”

NHTSA complaint #11010145, filed 2017-07, 80,000 miles

“Takata recall I am just concerned about my family's safety. Audi should offer a loaner program until they find a fix for this problem. As a city driver, the likelihood of a collision is far higher.”

NHTSA complaint #10910296, filed 2016-09, 64,000 miles

“A woman ran a red light heading east, my husband and I were heading north, the woman t-boned us the airbags did not deploy. Audi says it was the angle of impact. I have police report, the collision shop, and the insurance adjuster all agree airbags should have deployed.”
