“Jack failed while using to lift car. The teeth (hidden underneath the silver body mounting point) which engage the left and right halves of the jack scissors had become mashed up, and slipped a notch or two, suddenly dropping the car downwards. Yes I have the part for inspection. Audi Seattle service department said my only alternative through them was ordering a new one for full price. Yes they saw the jack.”

Audi denied reimbursement because I had a claim that was too old from the recall date. This is of course, illegal. I would like Audi to reimburse me for my valid recall service. Body of email sent to Audi of America on March 24: To whom it may concern; I had previously submitted for reimbursement for work performed on my 2014 Audi A5 in August 2024. …”
