“The contact owns a 2014 Audi A7. The contact stated while driving 71-72 MPH, he heard a gunshot like sound and noticed that the sunroof had exploded. The contact stated that shattered pieces of the sunroof glass panel fell onto his lap as the shade guard was partially open. The contact did not sustain any injuries. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that he would be charged a repair fee. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 117,235.”
