2019: “The start stop system is always active upon each driving session of the vehicle. However at times the hybrid system when it kicks in, doesn't activate the engine quickly enough so when I press the gas pedal it is not responsive and I can't propel forward. This is of concern when I'm not at a traffic light and the start stop system kicks in during stop and go traffic.”
NHTSA complaint #11306437, filed 2020-02, 3,000 miles2016: “1st problem my passenger air bag will go on and off sometime while driving even though no one is sitting there. 2nd problem the weather here was -30 for about 10 days and my car stopped working one morning when I turned it on. More precisely steering did not work. When I took it to vw dealer and they had it over night for all ice to melt they said a bunch of water came out from module when they unplugged wire harnes.”
NHTSA complaint #11396599, filed 2021-02, 50,100 miles2015: “Brake rotors warp easily causing vibration. The dealer tells me they are aware of this. They agreed to pay half of the $1200 cost to repair them. Audi forums have numerous posts on this yet Audi doesn't take 100% responsibility for repairs. My car had only 19000 miles when I purchased it so it occurred sometime before that. According to the forums warping has occurred as early as 12000 miles.”
