“My car has had electrical issues that the dealer has not been able to resolve. Things have gotten worse. Yesterday my son through a fit while driving on the freeway and opened the back door while I was going over 60 miles an hour and the door lock light was lit. I feel that under no circumstance should it be possible of the door to be able to open while driving at high speeds. I have discussed this with Audi corporate but they were more concerned about me being able to pay for this to be fixed than the issue itself.”

“During a routine inspection my mechanic noticed the subframe of my 2011 Audi Q5 was rusted through in numerous spots. It seemed odd that a vehicle bought new and garaged since it was purchased had such extensive rust. Pictures of the rusted subframe were taken and shown to the local Audi dealer. The dealer then asked to bring the vehicle in so they could take their own pictures. Contacted Audi NA and spoke with rep about problem. The phone call ended abruptly when the Audi NA rep refused to file a claim and hung up on me.”

NHTSA complaint #11465454, filed 2022-05

“My vehicle went to the Audi fife dealership. Advised I needed a new engine. I tried to trade in the vehicle and I was advised that my car had -0-trade in value. They wouldn't accept on a trade-in. They said it was worthless. I towed the vehicle home and I noticed on my paperwork that the dealership completed 3 recalls without my permission or knowledge. I asked service why they completed these recalls on a worthless vehicle that I had to tow home. A vehicle the dealership didn't want. …”

NHTSA complaint #11024123, filed 2017-09

“After my Q5 has been in the service department 3 times for the same issue broke down on a very busy highway with my small child on board. My Audi advisor told me to try to bring it to the dealer. We did not make it. Car had to be towed. After 2 weeks, I was advised I needed a new engine at the cost of $14,700. This is after it had been fixed several times before for the same issue. Secondly, it has a recall that has been published and Audi's response to me was the recall repair is not available yet. They are however are working with takata to produce replacement parts. …”
