“Passenger front window came off track. Back window does not go up or down. It is obvious that other two windows will do the same very soon. This has happened throughout the life of the car... Too many times, too much and too often. My car is a 2001 Bmw 330I, I've had a problem with my radiator resorvior, the water pump and cooling fan, the emmisions system, and my car has shut down on me while driving, usually when I am on a turn (which is very dangerous because I was at a one way stop making a right turn and almost got into an accident because the car shut down). …”

NHTSA complaint #10102339, filed 2004-12, 85,000 miles

“Vehicle window regulators had to be replaced for passenger and drivers windows (regulators were cheap). Driver side door lock failed. Passenger door locks failing. Passenger headlight fell out. Rear brake lights need constant repair. If one completely fills up the gas tank, gas fumes will be in the passenger compartment. Air conditioning fan needed replacement. Water pump failed. Instrument panel needed replacement.”

NHTSA complaint #11024732, filed 2017-09, 152,000 miles

“The contact owns a 2001 Bmw 330xi. The contact stated that while driving at 60 MPH, she heard a loud banging sound coming from underneath her vehicle without warning. Contact's rear left tire broke off from her car. The contact immediately lost control of her vehicle and veered to left side of the road. The contact hit another vehicle and spun out in the middle of the road. The air bags did not deploy upon impact. Upon a VIN search, there were two recalls NHTSA recall number: 17v047000 and 20v018000(air bags) on her vehicle at the time of the accident. …”

NHTSA complaint #11307020, filed 2020-02, 150,000 miles

“While driving engine check light would appear and remain on. Vehicle would then pull from left to right. Had vehicle towed to dealership. Mechanic indicated could not locate cause of problem.”
