Example complaints

One per model year, chosen for length and detail. Personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

2019: “The three of the four original tires, pirelli cinturato p7 all season 225 /45 r18 95h xl bsw bm rf, have had blowouts on the internal wall within one month and only 13,000 miles. I noticed there is a recall on the pirelli 19 tires. I believe this has to be a manufacturer defect. There was no trauma that caused the blowouts and they all occurred spontaneously.”

NHTSA complaint #11339188, filed 2020-07, 13,000 miles

2006: “Ok so ig was 1:30am and I was driving on the freeway then I start feeling the steering wheel kind of wear so I was gonna pull over on the next exit but j couldn't, cause I lost control of my car and I crash behind an 18 wheel truck so I didn't know there was a recall on the suspension:front:control:arm”

NHTSA complaint #11208387, filed 2019-05, 26 miles

2003: “All passenger doors except driver door cannot be unlocked or opened using any method--the key or any unlock button, or using either inside or outside door handles. This leaves only the front driver door openable. This is a huge safety risk. I can't drive the car this way--I would not be able to get my kids out of the back seat. It happens whether the car is running or not, and moving or not.”

NHTSA complaint #11058203, filed 2018-01, 130,000 miles
