Example complaints

Fuel system: “The oxygen sensor on my 2015 BMW 535D Diesel has become faulty. BMW has extended the warranty on Oxygen sensor for diesel vehicles to 10 years OR 120,000 miles. My car is still within 10 year threshold, but at 137,000 miles. It seems BMW has set a mileage threshold exactly before the parts start malfunctioning. The faulty oxygen sensors cause very bad fuel consumption. The mileage warranty threshold be lifted or increased.”

Engine: “The contact owns a 2015 Bmw 535D. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 18v755000 (engine and engine cooling); however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer and manufacturer were not notified. The contact had not experienced a failure.
