“The right side passenger soft auto close latch is not working. The latch somehow tries to unlock when trying to soft close and door remains open. Door has to be manually hard closed due to this issue. This seems to be a widespread problem for a $100k car. No updates or reset option available on the internet.”

NHTSA complaint #10454381, filed 2012-04, 32,000 miles

“The car, while driving, rebooted its internal systems and the car had a 2-second shut-down and greatly reduced speed and responsiveness. When the dashboard and middle console came functional again, it displayed several warnings that certain features (like dynamic drive) were shut off and the car needs to go to a dealership. This car has been plagued with electronic problems since its purchase and has been in the shop every two weeks with a system failing or shutting off. …”

NHTSA complaint #10315827, filed 2010-03, 56,000 miles

“Brake peddle appear to resist depression, and braking becomes difficult or impossible. The resistance feels like a control system resisting, and preventing the peddle from being depressed. But it could possibly be a failure of power assist, but it feels like a hard, but slightly spongy resistance, like a hydraulic system closed a valve down stream of the brakes. The issue began abruptly 5 days ago, from no indication at all of an issue, to an abrupt issue in full effect. Now it is consistant, and very repeatable. When braking to a stop from over 20 MPH, the brakes work normally down to ~10mph. …”
