It is now oct 4 2018 and no repair has been made. I just got 2 more recall notices from roseville Bmw stating to call them about recall #b651617 paas seat mat. …”

NHTSA complaint #11133391, filed 2018-10, 97,535 miles

2007: “My 2007 Bmw x3's driver side seat heater overheated while I was driving and burnt my thigh. I reacted to the burn and almost ran off the road. When I stopped I found a black burned spot on my seat. From my research it seems this has been a common problem with this model. I think the company should have to fix this problem before someone is hurt badly.”

NHTSA complaint #10826090, filed 2016-02, 107,000 miles

2012: “I was driving 60 miles an hour on a highway and the engine in my 2012 Bmw x3 35i seized and went into neutral. I had to glide off to the side of the road into the grass. I have been told by the Bmw dealer (laurel Bmw westmont) that the car needs a new engine which would cost $22k. Bmw USA offered to pay 60% of the cost and would not discuss the safety issues. The car has 59.5k miles and was well maintained.”
