“Inaccurate fuel gauge reading of my 2011 Buick Enclave. Has been happening for the last month and a half. I fill my tank up and it still reads that the tank hasn't been filled, also indicates that I only have say 60 miles when after a fill up it should read a range of at least 300 miles.”

NHTSA complaint #10705813, filed 2015-04, 50,003 miles

“The fuel mileage reader is not working properly...sometimes when I get gas it registers more mileage than it should. ...such as it may be on empty and the amount of fuel that I put in it should register that I would get 115 miles off it....but it will register that I should get 150 miles. Sometimes it registers right and I can drive only 10 miles and the number of miles that I can travel will drop by 28 miles or more. It changes as I drive but doesn't show the proper mileage left as be appropriate. …”

NHTSA complaint #11063471, filed 2018-01, 99,000 miles

“Similar to the recently announced recall on 2014 Buick enclaves for a faulty gas gauge, the same problem occurs on the 2011 model that I just purchased as well. I have owned the vehicle for 6 weeks and 3 times have experienced the gas gauge indicate an inaccurate amount of fuel. Twice after the vehicle was turned off and turned back on, the gauge reset to an accurate ready. However one after turning the vehicle off twice, the gas gauge did not reset.....it was not until the following day that the gas gauge gave a accurate reading.”

NHTSA complaint #10587062, filed 2014-05, 45,000 miles

“Gas gauge wasn't working on my 2011 Buick Enclave especially when weather was cold. Gas gauge would show less than was in the tank. Happened once or twice in 2012, but I thought it was a fluke. Then, several times in winter of 2013- so, I finally took it in dec 2013 after getting a message in the car of a sensor failure. They quoted $517.27 to fix it and said they didn't have time that day. Took back in early jan. Warranty just expired by 3000 miles, so I argued it should be covered. Dealership made me pay $100 towards it. They replaced the fuel level sensor. …”

NHTSA complaint #10586484, filed 2014-05, 53,068 miles

“We were driving down the highway at 65 MPH the stabilitrak / traction control light came on followed by an engine reduced power warning and the vehicle slows from 65 MPH to 30 MPH in about 3 seconds. The error message clears itself when the vehicle is turned off and left off for 1 to 5 minutes. The second time this happened we took it to the dealership and they reset the codes as a check engine light was also on. The check engine light came on again and the error message code indicated an idle problem. The dealer diagnosed and the TSB stated to relearn the idle which cost about $220. …”
