“The car was rear ended while parked. The car is totaled. The car moved up several feet upon impact in park and hit the trailer that was parked in front of it. The airbags did not deploy and the screen showed an error message following the accident that said service airbags . There was no prior notification of this sort previous to the accident. This airbag issue should have been alerted before the accident took place.”

“Received safety recall last year 2021 and made arrangements with John Holt Auto Sales in Chickasha, OK. They took all the information and said we would be notified when the air bag replacement had arrived. It's been over a year now and this problem still exists. Not sure how much longer I should wait while driving this hazardous vehicle on the highway.”

NHTSA complaint #11562086, filed 2023-12

“Responded to a Recall notice on passenger air bag in August 2025. Have had vehicle to GM dealership many times. They can't fix it. And won't call me back. Have called Buick direct and they are also having trouble with the dealership. But the service employees at Buick have been very helpful. This is a safety issue and haven't driven my Buick much since August. I'm elderly and feel i may be being abused. Thanks for any help.”

NHTSA complaint #11714164, filed 2026-01

“Was notified in may of 2023 of the airbag recall. Still no remedy what so ever. I drive this car on a daily and is terrified of getting into an accident. I purchased this car due to the safety ratings and now not so much. How are manufacturers making new cars with airbags and still no remedy for this?”
