“The contact owns a 2024 Buick Envista. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the back over prevention camera displayed a distorted image constantly. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer and the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V539000 (BACK OVER PREVENTION). The failure mileage was 67,000.”

“My 2024 Buick Envista rear backup camera is no longer operational. The camera has failed just after 14 months of new car purchase. The warranty is void due to mileage. There are many safety concerns due to camera failure including car and pedestrian collision. There are many reports of these cameras failing within one year of production of the Envista and should be recalled and repaired at no cost to the owner.”
