“I bought my car in January with 7 miles on it. Back in February I tried to get back into my car and my car would not unlock from the remote or from my Buick app. The car was not responding. I had to wait 20 mins and remove the battery 3 times from the remote for it to work. Then I cannot connect my phone or my car does not respond to me pressing any buttons on my steering wheel.”
NHTSA complaint #11583380, filed 2024-04“Was driving car and attempted to roll my window door and the car would not allow it. Then I started hearing clicking noises which was the sound of locking and unlocking door. Which I heard in succession of at 9 times. Later on the return drive on the highway the car let me consistently lock and unlock when in drive. I got home, turn the car off and radio did not turn of even after opening driver’s door”
NHTSA complaint #11703539, filed 2025-12“The instrument panel intermittently blacks out during vehicle startup or while driving. I haven't had my vehicle for 30 days and it's happened many many times, almost caused an accident due to the distraction it has caused. No warning signs prior to the screen blacking out. Service calibrated/reprogrammed the radio but issues have continued. I have several photos and videos of the numerous times this has happened.”

Within 10 seconds it came back up but my phone was disconnected and the system had to be reprogrammed. It was frightening as I was not sure what was happening and had no way of seeing whether my car was in drive and drivable. There was a safety recall last year for this issue. My VIN was not included.”
NHTSA complaint #11620918, filed 2024-10“I am writing to report a serious and ongoing safety issue with my vehicle. While I was actively driving in traffic, my car suddenly shut off completely without warning. This occurred while the vehicle was in motion, creating an immediate and dangerous situation. During this incident, the steering wheel locked up multiple times while I was driving, making it extremely difficult to control the vehicle and safely maneuver through traffic. This put not only my safety at risk, but also the safety of other drivers on the road. …”
