“I purchased a used Cadillac CTS from bill jacobs in joliet, il (jefferson st.) I paid for the car with my trade a 07 hummer h3 in perfect working order. I was also to receive payment in cash from the dealership for the difference, which to date I have not received. Within 24 hours the car started to vibrate, I contacted the dealer prior to 24 hours being up and notified them that there was something wrong with the car, that had already been certified by the dealership mechanics. I brought the car in for service, and was given a loaner. …”
NHTSA complaint #10355000, filed 2010-09, 45,000 miles“The contact owns a 2006 Cadillac CTS. While traveling in reverse at an unknown speed, the gears jammed and locked the drive wheel. The vehicle crashed into the curb and punctured the tire. The dealer stated that the differential seal was leaking fluid. The failures were repaired under warranty on november 12, 2007. One week later, the contact had to have the same failure repaired again for free. She received a recall notice for failures she experienced and took the vehicle back to the dealer. She inquired about being reimbursed for the charge of $329.46 for the tire and alignment. …”
