“My car started making clunking sounds every time placed it in drive. After doing some research on line, I came up with a recall GM was doing on my car. According to GM, there was a bad rear differential seal, and that oil may leak out. Well that's exactly what happened to my car. Not only did the differential fluid leak out but the bushing broke as will. The dealership covered the fluid leak repair (recall)...but said the busing broke because of were and tear...not because of the oil leak. …”

It has done this 3-4 times in perfect driving weather and I had not swerved or experienced any issue prior to the light illuminated TRACTION ENGAGED . It is pretty noisy under my car as well and the ride is not smooth and rather bumpy. It has engaged just backing up in a parking lot.”

She took the vehicle to the dealer and was informed that the rear axles needed to be replaced. The mechanic only repaired the rear differential. The failure recurred and the vehicle was taken back to the mechanic. The dealer repaired the rear differential and the rear axles; however, the failure persisted. She returned to the dealer and was informed that the fuel filter and the module sensor center needed to be repaired. …”
