“The contact owns a 2006 Cadillac SRX. While driving approximately 5 MPH and making a turn, the contact struck a bump in the road and the brake pedal seized. The service stability system warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was restarted and functioned as normal. The failure recurred on one other occasion. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 128,000. The VIN was unavailable.”

This occurred when the vehicle was traveling at low speeds around 5 MPH. The vehicle was towed to a dealership. The dealer was unable to duplicate the problem. The problem continues to occur intermittently, but the vehicle has not been taken back to the dealer for further diagnostic testing. Updated 3/3/2006 - updated 3/9/2006 -”
NHTSA complaint #10149145, filed 2006-01, 572 miles“The contact owns a 2006 Cadillac SRX. In december of 2008, the contact heard a loud metal noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. The failure occurred while driving 30 MPH. He took the vehicle to the dealer several times and they discovered that the rear differential traction control system failed. The dealer replaced the rear differential traction control system on march 11, 2009. Two days later, the failure recurred. The dealer stated that the differential system was giving incorrect signals. The vehicle is currently at the dealer. …”
