“In feb. 2019 my brake pedal went to the floor causing me to run a red light. There was no accident. The problem did not repeat and I drove it immediately to the dealership which could not find a problem and replaced all parts which could have caused it. The brake pedal again went to the floor in feb. 2021 when exiting a store parking lot and no accident occurred. Again took to dealership who did not find a problem.”
NHTSA complaint #11395699, filed 2021-02, 86,789 miles“While in motion, I applied the brake pedal and the pedal went to the floor and the car did not stop almost causing a wreck. After that the brakes returned to normal. I took the vehicle to GM here and they were unable to find any problem. After a few weeks passed by the car then did it again. This needs to be approached because there are so many people with the same issue! Someone is going to get hurt or killed!”

I have to use the high beams to see blinging the on coming vehicles which is very dangerous. At unknown time when a apply pressure to the brakes my vehicle wont stop. I have to pump the brakes and that don't work. The pedal drops to the floor. Took it into the shop and they stated they couldn't find anything wrong. This have happen to me 3 times as of now, I pray there isn't a accident.”
NHTSA complaint #11166583, filed 2019-01, 82,000 miles“I was pulling in to a parking space at a local mall. As I turned my wheel my vehicle took off and I lost all control. The brakes were applied and the car wouldn't stop. Within a few seconds my vehicle hit 3 other parked vehicles pushing one in to another. I believe I had then experienced sudden acceleration. Three vehicles were towed away including mine. No tickets were issued.”
NHTSA complaint #10546892, filed 2013-10, 16,000 miles“While driving and without warning, I have minimum braking power. I must smash the petal to floor in order to stop at a light or stop sign. Usually, I'm not going more than 35 MPH. This happens at least 2-3 times per month. I fear I will have an accident. Two different repair shops could not id the problem. The other issue is when driving, the dash lights and the head lights will suddenly dim, where I am barely able to read anything or see. These problems are truly a hazard and something needs to be done.”
