“Brakes failed completely. Fluid leaked from severely corroded brake lines. Luckily, I was on a 25mph rd near home. Barely stopped with full pressure on pedal. I was headed for highway and am very lucky it didn't happen there. Gm brake line corrosion is a scandal. 30 years in car business and I never saw this on any other car.”
NHTSA complaint #11121228, filed 2018-08, 117,000 miles“Brake line burst due to corrosion, line from master cylinder to ABS modulator, during panic braking situation while driving in the rain.
