“The vehicle has a chronic defect causing rapid, repeating front-end suspension and steering assembly failures. The right front strut and mount failed and were replaced under warranty twice in 2025 (at 29,968 miles and 35,740 miles). In May 2026, the left front strut and mount failed and were replaced. Two days after picking up the vehicle, a cascading mechanical failure occurred when the left front CV axle boot split, covering the wheel well in grease and requiring a complete CV axle shaft replacement. …”
NHTSA complaint #11745708, filed 2026-06“Purchased used with 30k miles and under factory bumper to bumper warranty. Noted noise when turning right slowly into parking space from front suspension as well as pop sound while going over speed bumps. Dealer replaced 3 axles (2 driver side) and confirmed noise present. Also replaced strut assembly in front which did not assist. Suspension issue unresolved to date and GM Field Tech suggests “operating to spec”. The main issue noted is the leerching forward between gears when braking to a stop. It’s as if car is sliding into each gear , learching while brakes applied, until stopped. …”
