“While in my driveway, I went to turn ignition on, and car would not start. Radio turned off. It was not until I floored the pedal that the gas and motor started. It happens off and on. Also the key and ignition switch entry area are extremely hot. I am worried this is in fact one of the ignition problems that chevy did not list or is refusing to fix. Please help,. It is not the battery. Updated 12/8/2014”

“Ever since I bought the car new the clock has never worked right. It runs for a few hours, shuts off for a few hours. Dealer couldn't fix when under warranty because they couldn't make it repeat. Most recently, the electronic door locks have stopped working, both inside and with the keyless entry. I tried changing the fuse, but that didn't help.”

“Key gets really hot and after I drive it for a while and shut car off and go to turn it back on after it sits for just a few minutes it will start but it will keep dying and then I have to let it sit for at least 20 to 30 minutes before it will start I guess the ignition has to cool down and it will be fine until it gets hot again I am afraid of car catching fire.”
