“While backing into parking at a Humble Cow ice cream place. My 2025 Chevy Blazer EV AWD slammed to a stop. I was going 4 mph my spouses head hit the head rest and caused severe pain and stress. We had to go to the emergency room for treatment. This has happened 6 other times 3 since having the required updates and replacement of modules that took several months to complete. She was given medication and lytocain patches for the trauma of her neck and head. She is now afraid to drive in my vehicle. …”

“This is now the second report from this vehicle with similar issues. This incident happened when in reverse with nothing behind me, the vehicle slammed on its brakes. No audible warning in the vehicle and nothing showing on the dashboard. The vehicle just applied emergency braking. This was a witnessed event.”

NHTSA complaint #11737566, filed 2026-05

“1. Vehicle has a horrible squeaking sound coming from the brake pedal area. First dealer diagnosed it as the master cylinder needing replacement. Noise did not go away and GM said that it is normal. The noise is not normal and has never been on any other car I have owned. 2. When reversing, the car sometimes abruptly slams on the brakes as if it is avoiding a collision even though no collision is close to happening. GM refuses to fix the problem.”
