Example complaints

Forward collision avoidance: “At a low speed, between 10 and 15 mph, the forward collision system automatically triggered and brought the car to an immediate stop. While we were lucky that no car was following behind us, the passenger and I experienced significant whiplash and lasting back pain as a result of this. The vehicle has not been inspected by anyone, and not been reproduced. The forward collision system flashed (red warning light, alert).”

NHTSA complaint #11704018, filed 2025-12

Brakes: “My windshield is defected with no real time when a replacement can be ordered..the interior lining is not sealed properly which is causing a buckling effect by drivers and passengers visors.. Rain is getting inside and soaking into the dashboard causing the electrical system on screens to blink in and out Finally my brake harness is still on recall and my car has been shifting into park which could cause severe problems if I am on the highway..”

NHTSA complaint #11687679, filed 2025-09

Electrical system: “The motorized charge port door no longer opens. There is no manual operation rendering the vehicle unable to charge. GM customer service and OnStar could not resolve the issue when contacted.”

NHTSA complaint #11634217, filed 2025-01

Back-over prevention (rear camera): “While backing into parking at a Humble Cow ice cream place. My 2025 Chevy Blazer EV AWD slammed to a stop. I was going 4 mph my spouses head hit the head rest and caused severe pain and stress. We had to go to the emergency room for treatment. This has happened 6 other times 3 since having the required updates and replacement of modules that took several months to complete. She was given medication and lytocain patches for the trauma of her neck and head. She is now afraid to drive in my vehicle. …”
