1998: “Steering: I am having problem with the steering when turning right during a long turn, it feels like I hit a patch of ice or like someone grab he steering wheel & jerk it to the right. This problem does not seem to be getting worst but I do not like the feel. Someone who does not know about this problem when driving the truck could over steer.”

NHTSA complaint #10228246, filed 2008-05, 39,000 miles

2000: “Was moving truck into drive way after it had been parked in the street. Upon pulling into the drive way I noticed I had no brakes. Turned truck off and checked under truck to find that there was brake fluid leaking from under the truck by the left rear wheel. Upon calling my mechanic I am told that this is a normal thing with my year truck and that it was being investigated by the NHTSA because of the amount of complaints. …”

NHTSA complaint #10476710, filed 2012-09, 102,000 miles

2002: “The anti-lock brakes kick in at slow speeds. This has almost caused me to wreck. They issued a recall for my brakes, but all they do is clean the sensor, so when they get dirty, they start doing it again. I contacted my chevy dealer, and he said they could look at it, might have to charge me though.”
