2005: “The car would not start. The lights on the dash came on, but there was no ignition, no sound of the engine trying to start. I could here the fuel pump start and stop. It was a cool, damp morning. Later that day, the car started with no problem. This happened several times, until we started parking the car in the garage.”
NHTSA complaint #10654061, filed 2014-11, 151,371 miles2004: “Occasionally, at the most inopportune times, the anti-theft system will not allow me to start my vehicle. The only cure is to turn the key to the on position for 10 minutes until the anti-theft light on the dash goes out. This is getting to be a major pain in the neck, especially because I am handicapped. I could be stranded anywhere, without warning!”
