Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“At 23000 miles the right rear wheel cracked. I have a 2023 Corvette stingray HTC with the 20 wheels. The option code for this original GM wheel is Q8Q, 20 rear carbon flash painted aluminum wheels with machined edge . This is a common problem and has been reported by many corvette owners on several corvette forums. I do not track my car and have new tires. GM again ignores this safety item. I had the problem on my C7 and again on my C8. I did complete the GM refund paperwork for my C7 cracked rear rims, however, GM never did any refunds or tried to correct this safety issue.”
