“No remote detected message or intermittent remote functionality. This has happened about 5 times now. I have been able to get it working by pressing the unlock button on the key fob and then it recognizes the key fob. The vehicle is parked and I get in to try and start car.”

NHTSA complaint #11278024, filed 2019-11, 20,435 miles

“When this problem first occured in my car, none of the gauges on the car worked. All were inactive including speedometer, gas meter, car temp, and RPM meter. The air conditioning was not working and the radio was not working either. At this time the car was running, and I was on a highway. The engine was still running. I took it to the dealership immediately to have the problem fixed. A few days later my car was returned to me and less than 100 miles later the car malfunctioned again in the same manner. …”

NHTSA complaint #11320804, filed 2020-04, 82,250 miles

“I was sitting stationary in traffic when the light changed to green. I prepared to move, the auto stop kicked off and shut my car down. Nothing was on but all the lights on the dashboard. I had to shift into park and restart my car. This was the first time this has happened and it almost caused an accident since the car behind me was not aware that my car had just cut off. Now my car makes a jerk whenever I accelerate or come to a complete stop. Please look into this because this is a true safety hazard and will eventually cause an accident!”
