“When pressing on the brake pedal you get constant vibration causing you to skid. It happens when your going straight or turning when you press on the brake pedal. It almost caused me to skid into the car in front of me. And also defrost is not working causing visibility issues especially in the cold and snow.”

NHTSA complaint #11366581, filed 2020-10, 172,000 miles

“Temp control door failed causing no defogging/defrosting in car. Chevy is aware of this problem which could cause driver inability to see thru windshield and has recalled some year models, but not 2006 models. I replaced at my expense for $1162.49. The part is not expensive, requires many hours of taking apart dashboard.”

NHTSA complaint #10943906, filed 2017-01, 116,000 miles

“The heater is currently blowing out cold air. I have tried every setting to try to see if any of the settings help but always blows out cool/cold air. Another costly repair to add to this vehicle. Ave had numerous problems with this vehicle, the worst chevy model I have ever owned. Have had this vehicle for 16 months have had numerous problems with this vehicle.”

NHTSA complaint #10662580, filed 2014-12, 118,000 miles

“Heater is blowing cold air and defroster is also not working. Went on-line and see that hundreds of others have this costly but more importantly safety issue (can't see out of window because defroster doesn't work). I've been cutoff because I have no warranty but this seems to be a bigger problem such as a total recall.”

NHTSA complaint #10558265, filed 2014-01, 200,000 miles

“The blend door broke and was replaced for only $50 due to carmax dealer warranty. Now my car has 115k miles on it and the heater is blowing cold air again. I believe it's the same problem, a broken blend door. I can't believe I have to replace it again! This needs to be addressed. This is a huge safety issue that needs to be recalled.”
