“The car will stalled while driving between 25-40 MPH and more frequently when slowing down, just before the car comes to a complete stop, it is far worst now. I only drive the car when it's absolutely necessary and only within city limit. I just need GM to fix the problem at no extra cost to me. I have suffered enough already.”
NHTSA complaint #10606617, filed 2014-06, 68,300 miles“For the last year, the traction control light has stayed on as well as the engine light. Shifting is difficult and I am afraid that it will effect the transmission and that the transmission will eventually be destroyed. There are several websites where other people are having the same problems but to my knowledge GM has not recalled these vehicles for this problem.”
NHTSA complaint #10532217, filed 2013-07, 70,000 miles“Driving at 70 MPH on freeway and suddenly engine power reduced warning comes on display and I can't accelerate. The engine cut off. On the freeway. This is not safe (obviously) and I don't see myself buying another chevy again. I have a family and this problem could kill us all.”
NHTSA complaint #10917717, filed 2016-10, 130,000 miles“Engine died today for 6th time while driving. Was driving down interstate at 73mph and engine died almost causing me to be rear ended with my young infant in the car while trying to get to the side of the road to restart it. No replacement parts are available at this time.”
NHTSA complaint #10575645, filed 2014-03, 25,000 miles“While I was driving down the road I got a message saying engine power reduced and then engine disabled and my car shut off. I tried starting it a few times and it wouldn't even turn over. After a few minutes it started back up.”
