Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“While driving down the road we had a handful of times where the lights would flicker. We were told we had to replace the headlight/blinker switch as it was faulty due to this vehicle having the lights- auto on/off switch located on this. We did, it didn't fix it. We were told loose headlight bulbs. Replaced, still happens. Only now, we have zero dim lights but only headlights if we turn on highbeams (brights). Still, we get the flickering headlights, this doesn't effect the blinker lights, yellow running lights or seem to effect the brake lights. …”

NHTSA complaint #11047430, filed 2017-11, 200,000 miles

“Sitting still under carport (car not moving). Turned on ignition to check gas amount and the lights on the dash did not come on. I moved it out from carport and they came on. Few hours later the lights would not come on again. The only keys on key ring are 1 house key, 1 car door key and the key fob. This car was not moving when this happened.”

NHTSA complaint #10566885, filed 2014-03, 65,100 miles

“When switching headlights to high beams, the auto lights have a tendency to completely turn off - leaving the driver with no ability to see the road. This has happened to me at least 10 times since february of this year (2008). It could easily cause an accident since you cannot see where you are going and in a panic to turn them back on you are all over the road! It is extremely dangerous and extremely frightening!”

NHTSA complaint #10240495, filed 2008-08, 63,000 miles

“Dt: the contact stated tail lights were not working properly. The vehicle has been to the dealership four times for this same problem. They were unable to duplicate the problem. The vehicle is still under warranty.”

NHTSA complaint #10144850, filed 2005-12, 100 miles

“Dt:the contact stated that the vehicle did not have tail lights. While driving at night one could not see the tail lights. The brake lights and turn signals worked properly. The vehicle has been at the dealership for 26 days, and they could not figure out what the problem was. A representative from Chevrolet has been in contact with him, and they still could not tell him what the problem was. The dealership changed the body control module and it still did not correct the problem. The consumer was told the interior lights had stopped working. Updated 11/16/05.”
