Example complaints

Seats: “- the contact owns a 1993 Chevrolet K1500. Chevrolet sent the contact recalls 95075 and 94011. After starting the vehicle the passenger front assembly recliner released and the seat reclined. After he reset the seat recliner and began to drive the seat reclined without warning while driving at 30 MPH. This failure occurred for 3 days, and he could push the seat back with his finger. The contact stated this was a safety concern since this failure could potentially cause a collision.”

NHTSA complaint #10180798, filed 2007-01, 51,500 miles

Visibility (wipers, defrost, mirrors): “The windshield wipers work infrequently. Sometimes they work in the rain and sometimes they don't. I have tried to detect a pattern but I have not been able too. I also feel that my cruise control is affected by this also because it is part of the same operational assembly arm in the truck. My cruise works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. I have been told by different mechanics that this could be several different problems and the only way to remedy would be to purchase a new motor. (very, very expensive) any information that you can provide will be apprieciated.”
