“A yr. Aft. I bought my 2005 Monte Carlo, things began going wrong with it. First 2 things to go:the cruise control & re-window defroster. The next yr, while driving at night on the interstate, I switched my lights to brights & within seconds I had no lights at all! Since then, I no longer use the bright lights, for fear of my lights not coming back on. …”

“First off, the speedometer started to incorrectly measure the speed and slowly over 3 months it stopped working totally and now doesn't work at all. In addition after buying the car it had a clunking noise when making turns at slow speed..I brought the vehicle in 2 times for this problem and it wasn't fixed either time and gave up because GM couldn't fix it and was going to charge me once I was out of warranty.”
