“Takata recall: there is a recall for 2014-15 silverado (recal # 14v301000). I am having the exact same issues. I have had the truck about a year, 2nd owner, bought it at 30k miles.on nov. 25 I came out to start my start my truck and I immediately couldn't power up stereo and then I noticed I have no door chime for open door, no chime for key in ignition and no chime for my seatbelt.
