Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“When charging my Silverado EV at Level 3 DC Fast chargers it is not charging at the same Voltage / Power as it has been in the past at the same stations (roughly half the power). I have taken it to the service center for diagnostics but they were unable to isolate the component that caused this problem, only reproduce the problem. Further details below. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? - The Level 3 DC high voltage charging is not charging at the same voltage as a comparable Silverado EV. …”

NHTSA complaint #11713924, filed 2026-01

“The rear passenger door sensors are not working on my vehicle as delivered from the factory/dealer. Upon opening the rear doors, there is no indication on the instrument panel/dome illumination as is present for the front passenger doors. With 4 independent doors it would appear to be a possible safety concern as the rear doors could unknowingly be open while driving. …”

NHTSA complaint #11628941, filed 2024-12

The cover material appears to shrink over time so that the side flaps will no longer reach and stay attached to the Velcro along the bed rails. At highway speeds the cover flaps and “balloons” upward, and the Velcro strips will not stay connected even when properly installed and tightened. The dealer has already replaced the cover once under warranty, but the replacement has the same problems. …”
