Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“I stopped into to teton motors in jackson, wy. And told them I heard a squeal from my brakes. They asked how many miles on the car I told them 36,000. They said not to worry that I would not need the brakes done till 100k. I traveled 1,000 miles had the oil changed and discovered that my rear inside brake pad was gone. It could not be repaired because of lack of parts so I made the return trip under those circumstances.”
