2001: “The passenger side rear door window breaks when the window is down for no reason. I have had to replace it 4 times in the last 60 days. There appears to be no dammage to any of the inside of window or the window regulator. The vehicle was stationary and my daughter opened the door and the window broke.”
NHTSA complaint #11022366, filed 2017-09, 200,000 miles2003: “I will be driving down the road both hwy and city. The suburban will go into reduced engin and lose all its power and speed. I have to pull over and cut the car off and restart it and it's fine to go for maybe a mile and it does it again. They can not pin point what the problem is . It's very dangerous.”
NHTSA complaint #10823383, filed 2016-02, 190,000 miles2010: “There are several cracks in the dash of my 2010 Chevrolet suburban as explained below. One of these crack is in the area of the passenger side airbag which is mounted on top of the dash. As the dash expands in the heat, typically in the hot months of the summer, the plastic portion of the dash will cover the airbag portion of the dash. I am concerned that if I do not notice this and the vehicle is involved in a crash, the airbag will not operate properly. …”
