Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“I was stopped at a red light. When the light turned green I entered the intersection, the LKA system began alerting me and pulling the vehicle towards the oncoming left traffic turn lane. I took my foot off the accelerator and reached over to shut the LKA off as it was pulling my vehicle. The incident resulted in distracting me resulting in my car hitting a car in the oncoming left turn lane.”

NHTSA complaint #11698171, filed 2025-11

“I was driving and the vehicle cluster display and radio went out. I was unable to see how fast i was going and any system info. It eventually came back on. During this time the car was continuing to drive but unable to see any lane - blindspot warning or speed or system controls or warning events.”

NHTSA complaint #11604270, filed 2024-07

“The audio in the vehicle goes out the radio and the warning sounds for all the safety alerts. The vehicle has been to the dealer 3 times the problem still is occurring. The problem is random no telling when it will occur. I have called GM customer service they were useless. When the audio for the vehicle goes out when I turn off the vehicle if it sits most of the time the audio will come back on. Today 8/18/2024 the audio went out twice no sounds for anything blinkers, lane assist, side mirror alert, stop alert nothing. This also affects the radio. …”
