Example complaints

Engine: “I was stopped at a red light and when the light turned green to go, the car stalled. Steering wheel locked and I had to turn the car off and back on in the middle of traffic. This happened twice in one day to me. I brought it to the dealership and they cannot find a fix for this. The car also stalled on the service manager on the expressway.”

NHTSA complaint #11772168, filed 2026-10

Electrical system: “I experienced a Hard Stall at a Red Light. The Auto Start/Stop Feature was engaged. The Console displayed Press Brake Pedal to Start . I had to shift into Neutral and manually restart the Vehicle. I had the Vehicle checked at my Dealer and there were No Error Codes Thrown and the Dealer Service Department could not recreate the Stall.”

NHTSA complaint #11764167, filed 2026-09

Other or unknown: “Yes the mirrors on my 26LT Chevrolet also on the 23 Chevrolet LT even on the older trax that I had The vehicles are pretty much identical as far as body style inside outside wheelbase etcetera My problem is the mirrors the right mirror the left mirror cut your vision off big time i'm only about 5657 inches high and I sit back low and you cannot see left or right it can cut whole car off at a stop light”

NHTSA complaint #11766406, filed 2026-09

Brakes: “Event happened on January 19th 2026. I’ve had my brand new car for 10 days and on the morning of the 10th day I started it to see multiple warnings. The car was in park and had not yet moved that day and a “Service Stabilitrak” came up. Once I started moving 2 more alerts came up “Break system failure, 62MPH top speed” and “Service power steering”. I brought it to the dealer and they diagnosed it with a Master Break Cylinder failure. The car has 120 miles on it. And due to the part being on back order I’ve been without that new car for over 3 weeks now.”
