Example complaints

Electrical system: “About a year ago I brought my car to the dealership because my computer blacked out which resulted in losing power steering and braking ability. I was told they hooked it up to the computer and found nothing and sent me on my way. Last week this same thing happened 5x in one day and I lost all computer function for 24 hours. The computer has since glitched and blacked out multiple times but have not lost steering or braking.”

NHTSA complaint #11761104, filed 2026-08

Other or unknown: “The nut on the axle on the passenger side of the vehicle came completely off. Not sure how long it was off as it was “smooth” and full of dirt. From what I was told the wheel could fall off. I travel on an interstate at 80 miles an hour daily. I bought this car to transport elderly mother to appointments. I am not feeling confident in this vehicle. I would trade it if I was not upside down in it. The dealership has been great.”

NHTSA complaint #11718076, filed 2026-02

Transmission and drivetrain: “The contact owns a 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that when he stopped the vehicle and had shut the vehicle off but had left the vehicle in drive (D) and had not engaged the parking brake, the vehicle rolled forward. The contact stated that this was also occurring when he had stopped the vehicle, turned the vehicle off and placed it in reverse (R) without engaging the parking brake the vehicle rolled backwards. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or independent mechanic. The vehicle was not diagnosed and was not repaired. …”

NHTSA complaint #11631058, filed 2024-12, 700 miles
