Example complaints

One per model year, chosen for length and detail. Personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

2016: “When I turn left, the right side makes a popping noise around the ball joint. Reservoir coolant tank leaks, and no tempature guage.. There is no way to tell if my car over heats until the light comes on and I have to pull over then? I have never seen a vehicle not have a tempature guage!! Also my passenger seat belt will not stay fastened!”

NHTSA complaint #11387384, filed 2021-01, 67,589 miles

2015: “The lower control arm is very loose. When we accelerate to low speeds (20-25mph) we hear a loud thumping noise that eventually stops when we get to higher speeds. Sometimes we have to let up off the throttle to make it stop and then reaccelerate. We looked underneath for the problem and we can physically shake the lower control arm.”

NHTSA complaint #11343422, filed 2020-08, 80,000 miles

2017: “Roughly at 40,000 miles driver side seat began to raddle badly. When I got out of the car the whole seat lifted up. I looked under the seat and noticed a lift mechanism that raised the seat or lowered it was broken off and now it's just flopping away. If I brake to hard the whole seat pushes me forward and wedges me in between it and the seat belt.”

NHTSA complaint #11290217, filed 2019-12, 44,000 miles
