“Bought my car June 3 2025. On 8-10-2025 my check engine light came on. My chevy app was showing evap issue. Dealer stated that the code was not active and they test for leaks and could not find any. Reset light. On 9-6-2025 check engine light on again. Same deal. 9-9 Dealer states not current again but there is a tsb to replace the fuel filler neck, 3 weeks to get the part.”
NHTSA complaint #11686063, filed 2025-09“I am having a problem with my brakes sticking. After it has been sitting all night, the brake pedal will be stiff and I’m unable to push it down much to start it. Once it’s started it thumps almost like the parking brake was set but I haven’t used it and I park on flat land. When I’m sitting in park, it’s idling as though I’m pushing the gas…the speed accelerates especially on curvy roads where I brake more frequently. The rotors have been scored for some time. Dealership blames it on them getting heated up. I drove to work and home 15 minutes each way. …”
NHTSA complaint #11767572, filed 2026-09“I just purchased this vehicle. I found that the fuel filler neck has a leak which is a fire risk. I was initially promised that the part would be replaced in a week, but recently found that the part is back ordered because this is a prevalent issue with 2025 models. At the dealer I was mislead into thinking this isn’t a big issue when it is, I was told I could continue to drive the vehicle with minimal risk but gas has been leaking in my grass and causing it to change colors as well as paying more for gas despite being sold on great gas mileage. …”
NHTSA complaint #11686774, filed 2025-09“On my way to work the car overheated causing me to be stranded in the middle of no where without cell service. When it got to the dealership to repaire the car, they stated that it was a cylinder head. The dearship had my car a little over a month for repairs, the dealership did finally give me a loaner for the last week of the repairs but I lost work and a client due to not having transportation. A week after receiving the car back I still had problems with a check engine light coming on occasionally with loss of power and it would go away. I did not trust the car at all.”
NHTSA complaint #11749271, filed 2026-07“1. I bought the vehicle on August 2, 2025. The Fuel Injector failed less than a week later from my purchase date. One month later the dealership replaced the Fuel Injector. Along with a pipe, seal, gasket, and retainer. 2. My safety was put at risk as I was driving on a highway and as soon as I was descending an overpass, I felt a loss of power as if the vehicle down shifted on its own. Luckily, I was still able to drive it, and it didn't stall. 3. Yes, the dealership ran their diagnostic test. 4. Same, response as question 3. 5. Yes the check engine light appeared. …”
