“I was traveling down a busy street in atlanta. I came to a stop sign and when I tried to continue through the intersection, the car would not move. The engine was reeving up high but the car was not moving. It also would not let me put the car in park. I had to turn the car off and after a few minutes I was able to restart the car and continue on my trip. This has happened multiple times.”

NHTSA complaint #11297941, filed 2020-01, 59,000 miles

“I was waiting in the drive thru bank line and the car cut off without warning. I had it towed to the Chrysler dealership and was told that I need a new alternator. However there was a recall on the 160 amp Chrysler 300 (recal p60) but I was told by Chrysler that my car is 180 amp but I've experienced the same issue as the 160 amp. Something needs to be done about this.”

NHTSA complaint #10968386, filed 2017-03, 52,000 miles

“The gear shifter sometimes does not go into park and on one occasion I got out of the car without realizing and immediately jumped back in, reengaging the park position. Since that time, I double check each time before getting out. Have not liked this shifter since I bought the car in 2012, since obtaining the correct gear takes sometimes several attempts. My wife also has this difficulty.”

NHTSA complaint #10825003, filed 2016-02, 20,100 miles

“On 5-01-16, while driving, heard a thump type noise in my right rear. This also activated my check engine light. Also I noted significant reduction in ability to accelerate, as in the car was stuck in a higher gear. Drove straight to my local mechanic and he did a obd ll test. A p1dc7-00 code came back.”

NHTSA complaint #10872514, filed 2016-06, 80,000 miles

“I press the start button my car and it came up service transmission, please put vehicle in park, my windshield wipers activated on their own (when they were in the off position), my heater continuously blew hot and I was unable to turn it off. I had to crawl through the backseat of my vehicle to open the trunk and disconnect it from the battery to cut the vehicle off. It also blind spot deter failed. …”
