“I went in to the local Chrysler dealership on saturday, january 21, 2012 for a routine oil change. I was told that I needed to replace an engine mount. I had to replace on in september of 2010 and I was quite shocked that I was faced with this repaid again. It was a different mount this time. So I asked the customer service representative why does this keep happening. I am 57 years old and in 40 years of driving I have never even heard about this happening to any one. …”

NHTSA complaint #10444888, filed 2012-01, 64,500 miles

“The dashboard of my 2006 Pt Cruiser is factory painted metallic silver, and I was constantly holding up my hand and covering the dash with cloth etc...to prevent it from blinding me while driving on sunny days. On a tuesday evening in august 2007 while entering onto a highway the evening sun glared off the right panel of the dash so brightly it blinded me and caused me to begin to have an immediate seizure type responce. …”

NHTSA complaint #10224097, filed 2008-04, 15,000 miles

“We were rear ended while on vacation. The car was drivable and it was put in the shop for repairs. The other person was at fault. When we got the car back we noticed that the airbag light would stay on for a minute or two and then go off. This continues to happen. The car repair shop checked seat belts and such. The air bags did not deploy as this was a rear end collision. I feel like this is a safety hazard. The repair shop has had to repair work that was not done right. Could they have messed up the codes as the temp does not work right.? Were the airbags damaged ? …”

NHTSA complaint #10515301, filed 2013-06, 28,755 miles

“Vehicle at 76,000 miles rides rough and during check up was found to have bad front bushings and three cracked engine mounts. Two licensed mechanics advised that this should not be happening to a single owner, never mistreated vehicle at that mileage. This was caught prior to a potential safety incident.”

NHTSA complaint #10604494, filed 2014-06, 76,000 miles
