“After the windshield wiper pivot shaft failed I contacted Chrysler and was told a recall was coming in sept. 99. I had the wipers fixed and waited for a recall slip that never came. I contacted Chrysler again on nov. 16, 1999 and was told my van wasn't included in the recall even though the recall was for the exact parts that failed on my vehicle. At the time of the failure we were approx. 75 mi. From home driving in a rain storm with my whole family in the van. This resulted in a very dangerous situation as vision was reduced to nothing.”
