“I was not notified of this recall! I logged onto my credit karma (today 3/14/2018) and they notified me that 3 recalls were issued for this vehicle back in 2016. Additionally, my husband was in an accident on 11/29/2017 and the air bags did not deploy. He was a tboned from someone who ran a stop sign and is suffering from neck and back issues caused from this accident.”

NHTSA complaint #11079073, filed 2018-03, 50,000 miles

“I was driving and heard a loud pop. Looked at my passenger seat and saw the head rest came off the plastic holding in airbag. The bag did not deploy as far as I can see. I was in motion when it popped. I called to see if dealership would fix but they want me to pay since there is no recall but I feel when it comes to safety it should be fixed with no charge to customer especially when it was a malfunction on car.”

NHTSA complaint #11372706, filed 2020-11, 105,000 miles

“Takata recall. Also I would like the brakes and or the rotors be investiagated as well. I had to have the brakes repaired 3x times since 2016 for the same reason with in 3to 4 months of each other and the rotor replaced . I saw that I am not the only one have this complaint as well as the roofing material is coming off and the car seems to be having a slight electrical issue where we lose power.”

NHTSA complaint #11010293, filed 2017-07, 55,000 miles

“I was hit by another car that ran a stop sign and none of my airbags deployed. The accident resulted in a total loss due to the hard hit. As a result I do not feel safe at all knowing that I could be hit so hard that my 2014 Dodge Avenger was totaled but no air bags deployed to do the job they were suppose to do.”

NHTSA complaint #10667017, filed 2014-12, 17,100 miles

“Ever since I bought the car from the dealership, the air bag light turns off and on while driving, minutes apart from each other. Never had my airbags deployed fortunately.”
